Bonnie J. Rumble, MFT, is a Marriage & Family Therapist with private practices that provides counseling and therapy services in San Diego and Cardiff by the Sea, California. She is the owner of Cardiff Counseling Center where she has trained over 10 interns whom have gone on to start their own private practices. She has been in private practice for over 20 years working with couples, individuals, families, adolescents and children.
Before she became a therapist she was a Department Head for 7 years in a psychiatric hospital, residential treatment center, and outpatient program. Her work there exposed her to many modalities of therapy including art, recreation and expressive therapies, along with more traditional approaches.
She has worked extensively with adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues as a program director and recreation therapist.
Bonnie has facilitated women’s growth groups addressing mind body and soul along with life issues such as relationships, depression, anxiety, grief and life transitions. She has also facilitated groups for adults and adolescents in recovery from addictions. Counseling services that focuses on maintaining healthy, happy sober lifestyles and healing and transforming their life without the crutch of substances or compulsive behaviors.

Originally from Minnesota, Alexandra Brown is a certified Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). Alexandra completed her MA in Clinical Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy from Point Loma Nazarene University here in San Diego. Alexandra began her career in Psychology and Addiction Counseling, earning her undergraduate degree from University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. Her diverse experiences include work as a women’s volleyball coach and therapy with both individuals and groups in an inpatient therapeutic setting, while obtaining her graduate degree.
Across culture, gender, sexual orientation and age, Alexandra maintains friendly professionalism, a safe, nonjudgmental and calm space for the process. She enjoys working with individuals, couples and families to process experiences, yet gently challenges to encourage clients towards an alternative way of thinking. She is an empathetic and compassionate therapist who works with her clients for continued growth in mental health.
Alexandra has experience working with individuals who suffer from anxiety and depression who have gone through TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) and Ketamine treatments. She has worked as a technician for TMS treatments offering clients support, consistency, and encouragement. She understands the importance of a variety of approaches to assist in
one’s mental health journey.
